I love being the problem solver—there is a distinct satisfaction in helping people who have needs get the benefits they truly deserve.
After working as a state employee in the District Attorney’s office, Chris Parker joined Greene & Phillips in 2009 to run the firm’s criminal defense division and develop their Social Security Disability practice.
Prior to joining the firm, he spent 2 ½ years as an Assistant District Attorney for the 28th Judicial Circuit in Baldwin County, Alabama. During that time, he gained invaluable experience in the courtroom and has successfully handled jury trials on crimes ranging from DUI to murder.
Chris is a native of Pleasant Grove, Alabama, and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. After graduating, he attended law school at Regent University School of Law in Virginia Beach, Virginia, where he earned a Juris Doctor.
While at Regent, Chris was a member of both the Alternative Dispute Resolution Board and the Trial Advocacy Board. As a member of the Trial Advocacy Board, he competed in several national competitions, and took first place with his team for the Eastern Division in the ABA National Labor and Employment Law Student Trial Advocacy Competition in 2005.
Q: How quickly will I get my Social Security Disability benefits after I file?
A: Social Security Disability is a federal program that involves standards and procedures that must be followed. While we can’t control when the Social Security Administration will set a client’s case, we do have control over the details. We work hard to prepare every case thoroughly and effectively to give clients the best possible chance to succeed and get all of the benefits for which they are eligible.
When you’ve been seriously injured in an accident, Greene & Phillips is here to help. We are staffed with experienced Alabama injury attorneys who will guide you through the entire legal process. Based in Mobile, we are conveniently located to serve clients throughout Alabama, Mississippi, and Florida.
