Meet David

David Greene grew up in Mobile, Alabama. His father was a paper mill worker. Unlike a lot of lawyers in his field, David didn't begin his career in law-he started out as a regional sales manager of a manufacturer out of New York, then moved back to Mobile and launched his own landscaping company so unlike a lot of lawyers in his field, David truly understands where his clients come from.

After graduating from the University of South Alabama with a degree in communications and marketing, David earned a Juris Doctorate from the Jones School of Law in Montgomery, Alabama. Two years later, he and longtime friend Will Phillips founded Greene & Phillips Attorneys at Law. With similar business and core philosophies, David and Will have spent the years growing the firm into what it is today-successful handling large caseloads but with a distinct family atmosphere.

David enjoys his role as a managing member of Greene & Phillips and practices in several areas of law, including wrongful death, auto accident, job site accident, and catastrophic injury.

Because of this, most civil defense lawyers don't have experience in front of a jury. At Greene & Phillips, all of our lawyers have tried jury cases because they have come through the criminal defense division of the law firm. While lawyers at other firms may say they have what it takes to represent your case if a trial becomes necessary, we have the experience to back it up.
