I live my life by the philosophy that everyone should be treated the same—it’s one of the reasons I’ve been with Greene & Phillips so long. They work hands on with both their clients and their staff.

Meet Sue

Sue Burgess manages the Greene & Phillips staff of more than 20 including the business office staff, case managers, and attorneys. She supervises daily operations and bookkeeping while overseeing payroll, client disbursements, and settlements. She has a practical approach to business—she never asks staff to do something she wouldn’t do herself.

Originally from New York, Sue served eight years in the U.S. Air Force, including a long stint in Saudi Arabia. She and her husband moved to Mobile, where she began her career as a receptionist with a law firm in 1991 and has worked her way up from there. She knows the business inside and out and cares most about helping tragically injured victims get the money they need to move forward in life.

After nearly two decade of working with Greene & Phillips, Sue has seen that the firm is unique in how involved the attorneys are with their caseloads. With a nontraditional approach and an outside-the-box attitude, they take a real interest in their clients and their staff.
