Mobile County Sheriff’s Office- CAMP EXPLORER
Collab with the Sheriff’s Office and local schools? Count us in!
This Summer, Greene and Phillips partnered with The Mobile County Sheriff’s Office and Mobile County Public Schools for Camp Explorer.
Camp Explorer is designed to foster positive relationships between the Sheriff’s Office and children ages 8 to 12. There campers engaged in learning experiences covering various aspects of public safety. During the camp, the campers were divided into four squads, simulating deputies’ roles. They engaged in learning experiences covering various aspects of public safety. Additionally, campers went on field trips to local businesses and scenic locations within Mobile County, allowing our them to explore and appreciate the community we live in.
David Greene, attorney and founding partner of Greene & Phillips, spoke to campers at Semmes Middle School about the law and how it keeps us safe. He also shared about the different kinds of law and engaged with campers, asking about their experiences and thoughts on the law. Campers and counselors also got a visit with the The Judge, as well as a Judge plushie to take home. At Greene & Phillips, we are passionate about being involved in the community through opportunities like Camp Explorer. We are big supporters of the Mobile County Sheriff’s office and our local schools. Fostering good relationships between the two will make a safer, healthier Mobile community, and that’s what we’re all about.
