The Greene & Phillips Player of the Week is Saraland junior quarterback Jamison Roberts.

The Greene & Phillips Player of the Week recognizes not only the top talent in high school sports, but also great teammates, hard workers, and most improved athletes along the Gulf Coast, Birmingham, and throughout Alabama.

The junior standout led the Spartans to a big 6A Region 1 win over Gulf Shores, completing 17 of 21 passes for 269 yards and three touchdowns, while adding 80 rushing yards and two more scores on the ground.

Roberts and the Spartans now turn their attention to Friday night’s showdown at Spanish Fort, one of the state’s biggest 6A Region 1 battles.
