About Dave

Dave Lewis was born and raised in Tucker, GA. Growing up in a musical family, he was lead singer in several bands while still in his youth. The first band was Xpress in 7th grade comprised of students from his elementary school.

After graduating from Georgia State University in Atlanta, Dave’s passion for music drove him into the radio business. Very quickly those at the radio station learned that Dave had a gift for sales and marketing.

In a round-about way, this is how Dave met his wife, Donna, who encouraged him to go to law school when he turned 40. At this time he was a Realtor which allowed him to sell homes during the day while attending night school at Birmingham School of Law. Law was the first subject in school he had had a passion for, and he excelled graduating 4th in his class and receiving multiple honors including the Hugh Locke Award and Property Award.

Professional Career

Since graduating law school, Dave has worked as a closing attorney, a consumer protection attorney, and a personal injury attorney. But his true passion for sales and marketing, along with some divine intervention, led him to Greene & Phillips as Director of Business Development for Central and North Alabama, where he builds and strengthens the referral relationships that connect injured Alabamians with the firm. He works to make referral partnerships straightforward, responsive, and genuinely useful for referring businesses, attorneys, and their clients.

Family and Community

Dave and his wife, Donna, live in Pelham with their two dogs and three cats. Donna is retired from being a Pet Boarding Facility/Rescue shelter owner. They love to go out with friends or simply sit at home with their animals. An Eagle Scout, Dave still sings with his band Bottled Lightning whenever he has the chance.
