The Greene & Phillips Player of the Week is McGill-Toolen junior running back Ladarien Miller. The Greene & Phillips Player of the Week recognizes not only the top talent in high school sports, but also great teammates, hard workers, and most improved athletes along the Gulf Coast, Birmingham, and throughout Alabama.

Ladarien powered the Yellow Jackets to a 45-32 victory over the Spanish Fort Toros in a key 6A Region 1 matchup: a win that virtually secures a playoff berth for the Yellow Jackets.
The standout junior carried the ball 31 times for 144 yards and four touchdowns, adding two catches for 12 yards.

Over his last two games, Ladarien has been nearly unstoppable, racking up 280 yards and eight touchdowns on 60 carries. So far this season, he’s totaled 1,095 rushing yards on 189 carries and found the end zone 13 times, proving to be one of the most consistent offensive weapons in south Alabama high school football.
