This week’s Greene & Phillips player of the week is Williamson senior Corein Coleman. The Greene & Phillips Player of the Week recognizes not only the top talent in high school sports, but also great teammates, hard workers, and most improved athletes along the Gulf Coast, Birmingham, and throughout Alabama.

The 6-foot-4 senior led his 5A Lions to a 70-66 win over 6A Theodore with in 39 points. He followed that up with another huge performance against McGill-Toolen, scoring 37 points and grabbing 11 rebounds.

For the season, Coleman is averaging an impressive 32 points and 12 rebounds per game.

Williamson is widely viewed as one of the top teams in Class 5A and a legitimate state championship contender.
