Honored the week of October 16, 2026

This week’s Greene & Phillips Player of the Week is UMS-Wright junior linebacker Mack Keaton.

Mack led the Bulldogs’ defense in a thrilling 33-27 double-overtime victory over Montgomery Catholic, recording 13 total tackles and a key interception.

Head Coach Sam Williams says Mack has stepped into a leadership role at middle linebacker and has been phenomenal this season, describing him as the kind of player who is always around the ball.

The performance comes just one week after Mack recorded 18 tackles against Glenwood in Phenix City.

UMS-Wright improves to 6–1 and will travel up the hill this Friday to face longtime Old Shell Road rival St. Paul’s.
