About the Scholarship

Recognizing that many scholarships are based on athletic or academic achievements that are not always indicative of a student’s potential, Greene & Phillips encourages students of all GPAs and abilities to apply for the Greene & Phillips Gives Back Scholarship. We award five (5) $2,000 scholarships to eligible high school seniors to go toward their choice of post-secondary school.

Who Can Apply

All current high school seniors in the United States can apply. Four scholarships will be awarded to students in Alabama, and the remaining scholarship is open to students anywhere in the United States. Scholarships can only be used at accredited colleges, universities, community colleges, and trade schools.

How to Apply

Record a 3–5 minute video of yourself that specifically addresses one or more challenges you have faced in high school and the story of how you overcame those challenges. Upload the video to YouTube (mark it as unlisted), then fill out the application form and paste in the video link.

Deadline

Applications must be submitted on our website before midnight on the January 31st deadline each year. At least 10 finalists will be chosen by March 1st and will be interviewed in person or virtually. The 5 winners are announced on April 1st.
