Congratulations to Theodore senior, Navontay Richardson Week 9’s Greene & Phillips Player of the Week.

Richardson, a standout player for the 6A #10-rated Theodore Bobcats, demonstrated exceptional skill, determination, and leadership on the football field Friday night in a matchup against McGill-Toolen. He rushed for an impressive 264 yards and scored four touchdowns all in the first half of the game.

The award was presented to him on Tuesday by Fox 10’s Emily Cochran and Personal Injury Attorney, David Greene. Navontay  expressed his gratitude for the recognition and attributed his success to the support of his teammates, emphasizing the importance of teamwork in achieving such remarkable accomplishments.

Steve Mask, Theodore’s Head Coach, had high praise for Navontay’s dedication and hard work. Navontay’s work ethic and commitment to excellence were evident, making him a true inspiration to his peers.

After meeting the team and presenting the award, David Greene commended Navontay’s outstanding performance and the synergy he displayed with his Theodore Bobcat team including four touchdowns and 264 rushing yards.
