The Greene & Phillips, AHSAA Radio Network Coastal Alabama player of the week is Senior, Justin Friend.
The right handed pitcher for the 10-3 Mary G. Montgomery Vikings Baseball Team has signed with Bishop State Community College. Justin has pitched 12 and 2/3 has given up 6 hits with 4 walks and 15 strikeouts. He has a 0.00 era and opponents are hitting .140 against him. Justin is also the Vikings starting shortstop. He has started on the varsity since his freshman year, is an honor roll student, and a quality young man.

Injury Attorney and Greene & Phillips Partner, Chase Barber presented the award to Justin in front of the team.
Vic went three for four with a pair of homers and three RBIs as the Trojans defeated Foley 15–0. The Alabama signee also pitched three innings, allowing one hit and striking out eight.
For that week: 10 innings pitched, 2 infield singles, 3 walks allowed, 27 strikeouts, opponents batted .065 off of her for the week and .035 for the season. She was also 4/6 at the plate with 2 singles, 2 homeruns, 3 rbis, 4 runs scored, 1 walk, and 1 stolen base.

The Varsity Softball Pitcher for Cottage Hill Christian Academy has pitched 2 perfect games this past week allowing no hits and no runs. A 20-0 win versus Davidson on Monday and a 17-0 win versus UMS on Thursday. She has 15 strikeouts in 2 games. At the plate, Marilyn was 5 for 5 on the week with 5 RBI’s.

Congratulations to Charles Perry, our Greene & Phillips Player of the Week!
The UMS-Wright Senior won a state championship in the 6A 1600 meter run at the state indoor championships at the CrossPlex in Birmingham with a time of 4:17.73. Perry also ran his personal best time in the 800 meter run and finished second with a 1:56.52 time. Perry has signed a track and field scholarship with the University of Virginia.
Attorney David Greene, a UMS-Wright Track and Field alumni presented the award to Perry on Wednesday with coaches Pat Galle and Rick Cleveland.
Thomas scored 19 points including the winning basket in Baker’s Hornets boys basketball 60-21 win against Theodore. Thomas was 6/10 from 3 point Range.

Winning her third State Championship last week, the Lady Trojans team captain had a 40-0 record on the season, and won her 100th match at the state finals this year.
On Thursday, Attorney Stephen Collins met up with Kalyse and presented the custom award designed by Bad Ash Trading Co.
Congratulations to this week’s Player of the Week, UMS-Wright Junior center, Ansleigh Ishee!
With nothing short of an amazing season, Ishee has scored in double digits in 22 of The Lady Bulldogs 24 games this high school girls basketball season.
Friday afternoon, Greene & Phillips Founding Partner, Will Phillips presented Ishee the custom award designed by Bad Ash Trading Co. in a short ceremony before the team headed off for their 64-34 win against Bayside Academy where Ishee again scored in the double digits.
Following the presentation, Coach Terry Canova remarked, “I really appreciate Greene & Phillips recognizing Ansleigh Ishee our Junior Post Player. She’s our team’s leading scorer, and she’s scored in double figures in 22 of our 24 games. But Ansleigh is so much more than that.”
Canova went on, “Ansleigh is just a tremendous young lady. She’s loved by everyone that knows her, and is a tremendous teammate. Equally important is that she’s an outstanding student with a 3.8 GPA. I’m looking forward to seeing the great things in store for her in the future, both on the court and beyond.”
Scofield scored an impressive 40 points, accompanied by 7 rebounds, 3 assists, and 2 blocks at January 5th’s 73-66 win against Mobile Christian.
During the red bracket consolation finals of the Gulf Coast Classic Boys Holiday Tourney, Scofield scored 18 points had 8 rebounds 6 assist and 5 block shots along with 3 steals leading the Warriors to a 76-55 win over Class 6A.

Williams’ remarkable achievement of 194 all-purpose yards and three touchdowns was pivotal in leading his team to a playoff victory against McAdory and a spot in the second round.
During the award presentation, David Greene, representing Greene and Phillips, joined Fox Ten’s Daeshen Smith at Saraland High School to honor Williams. His performance not only showcased his athletic prowess but also underscored his leadership both on and off the field.
Williams, expressing gratitude for the honor, attributed his success to the team’s collective effort and strategic gameplay. Saraland’s Coach Jeff Kelly praised Williams for his leadership qualities, describing him as an “outstanding football player” and a “great guy in the locker room.”
Greene commended Williams for his exceptional talent and foresaw a promising future for him at the University of Alabama. Williams’ contributions have been a significant factor in Saraland High School’s continued success under Coach Kelly’s guidance.
The Saraland Spartans, with Williams’ exceptional performance, look forward to their upcoming game against Briarwood Christan, as they advance in their pursuit of winning the Blue Map two years in a row.
